Bi-Directional Audio Communication in audio enhanced cameras
JVC’s VN-X35U incorporates a Mic In / Line Out connection for Bi-Directional Audio Communication and is compatible with both VR-N900 and 1600E Series Network Video Recorders and the VN-RS800U free software.
The inclusion of a Mic In / Line Out connection allows
users to not only view a selected camera spot, but also listen in, utilising the same network structure rather than a separate audio signal. With an external speaker attached, users
can speak to or emit an alarm sound for visitors ultimately providing a more advanced and dynamic means of two-way communication and warning system.
Traditional CCTV rarely uses audio as part of a system, but with the convenience and flexibility of IT networks, adding an audio solution on JVC’s range of audio enhanced cameras is
really quite simple.
